Relish Fire Private Limited (RFPL) offers an extensive range of Fire Alarm systems ranging from simple Automatic and manual fire alarm systems through to complex and integrated systems employing the latest technology for larger buildings, Our design team are able to tailor a solution to meet your specific needs.

There are two generic types of fire alarm system in use, these are the traditional conventional Fire Alarm systems and the newer more advanced analogue addressable alarm systems. The two technologies are explained below:

Conventional systems are essentially simple switches that are either “on” or “off”. They cannot distinguish between a real fire and the various non-fire phenomena that can trigger an alarm such as Cigarette’s smoke, Fire’s Smoke, dust’s and steam’s, With Addressable and conventional Fire alarm systems the control panel is only able to indicate the zone or circuit that an activated (or faulty) detector is on, they can identify the Individual and Zone device as well.

A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors, and heat detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations. Alarms can be either motorized bells or wall mountable sounders or horns. They can also be speaker strobes which sound an alarm, followed by a voice evacuation message which warns people inside the building not to use the elevators.

Fire alarm sounders can be set to certain frequencies and different tones including low, medium and high, depending on the country and manufacturer of the device. Most fire alarm systems in Europe sound like a siren with alternating frequencies. Fire alarm sounders in the India can be either continuous or set to different codes such as Code, Fire alarm warning devices can also be set to different volume levels, Smaller buildings may have the alarm set to a lower volume and larger buildings may have alarms set to a higher level.
